Important Points

Guest self-paying items in China: 

•  Due to the parking lot is quite far from the railway station, guest should carry their luggage for over 200meter to the coach, if they don’t want to carry by themselves, they can request the local porter from railway station to help them to carry, clients should pay the porter fee at RMB10-20 per luggage by themselves or Indian tour leader pay for the guests for the luggage’s. The luggage porter price may be different in different railway station, please check the price at the spot.
• If the clients require that the porter to carry the luggage from the lobby to the room, clients need to tip RMB5 per luggage by themselves or Indian tour leader pay Rmb100-250 per group in each hotel according how many luggage’s carried.

Shopping Policy: 

• Appointed shops are compulsory and necessary, the policy is one day one shop, 2 shops in Beijing and 1 shop in Shanghai, otherwise the quotation will be increased.  The shopping sites are subject to change. All the guest must spent at least 40mins in our appointed shop, if the time less than the regulate time, the surcharge as penalty will be collected at the spot by our tour guide.  USD200-500 per group will be punished accordingly.  All tour leader from Indian should assist China local guide to convince guest for shopping for enough time there, tour leader has responsibility to coordinate with optional program and shopping. All Indian Travel Agents should inform the group members about the shopping policy clearly before they come to China.

Passport Information

• Almost all Countries need Passports to be valid for minimum 6 months & few of them for minimum 9 Months from the date of entry into there Country. So please check expiry date of your Passports and its highly recomended that you get it renewed around 10 to 12 months before its expiry
• All Countries who Stamp Visa on Passport or give on Arrival Visa need at least 2 Blank Pages on Passport and few countries Back to Back Blank Pages to enable them to Stamp the Visa. Please check your Passports if you have available pages and if not then please get it renewed
• Handwritten and Passports issued for 20 years are no longer valid and such Passports have to be renewed immediately
• Any water spillage or Torn Pages or any Damage to external or internal parts of Passports will result in Passports not being accepted for Visa or during Immigration and hence its recomended that we renew the Passpor
• Passports should have at least 2 to 4 Blank Pages & in few cases Back to Back Blank Pages for Visa Stampings or for On Arrival Visa

Tourist VISA Requirement

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any). Also submit copy of information pages as well as copies of previous Chinese visas (on A4 paper). If applying from Kolkata: Photocopies of passport information pages.

Please Note : Handwritten passports are not accepted.

China Visa Application Form : visa application form has to be filled online, once the applicant fill the form,the printout has to be taken out signed by the applicant and attached with the application for submission.

The following should be strictly followed:

a) It is mandatory to fill all the columns. None of the box should be left empty ,if it is not applicable then NA should to be mentioned

b) Applicant has to fill each and every column online including selection of normal/ urgency processing

c) After taking the printout no manual amendment can be done. Hand written form or white ink is not allowed.

Photo Specification: As per the instruction from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People Republic of China, the following requirements of the photo should be satisfied for China Visa (effective 5th December 2016):

1- Color photograph on white background, taken within the last 6 months.

2- Photo size: 48mm x 33mm, width of head:15mm to 22mm, height of head: 20mm to 33mm.

Covering Letter : a) Covering Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation, passport number,purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to –

\"Consulate General of the People\'s Republic of China,Mumbai\"

Please Note : Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper

if Employed .

(i) ORIGINAL NOC/Leave Letter from the Employer (If employed)

Invitation Letter in ORIGINAL from China (a company or a person), Tourist Agenda, personal written statement with details as follows:

a) name of the scenic spot;

b) name, address and contact number of the inviting company or person;

c) name and contact number of the applicant\'s working unit in India.

If the applicant is unable to provide an Invitation Letter from China, the following documents are needed:

a. Tourist Agenda.

b. A copy of confirmed return air ticket and hotel reservation bill.

c. Personal Written Statement with the following details:

i)name of the scenic spot;

ii) name, address and contact number of the inviting(contact company or person).

iii) Certification letter from the working unit of the applicant(with details as follows: name and contact number of the working unit, the applicant\'s income statement or recent 6 months Bank Statement of the applicant).

Financials: Personal Original Bank Statement with minimum balance of Rs 1,60,000 with Bank seal and signature of authorized signatory on each page.
